Web-cam idea
Build a MAX/MSP patch that takes an image from a web-cam and trebles it in successively smaller images, further delayed between one and the next. Key out the backgrounds and perform this way, in costume. It would be nice if I could stream this. If I can’t build the patch fast enough I’ll just do it in Final Cut. This would require much less preparation, but would require more work consistently unless I could set up some sort of template. Maybe I can.
The one real advantage of MAX is that it would be nice if I could do it in real time so that I could monitor myself. Another way to do it would be to shoot at an angle where I could just use video feedback, but that might also make an out-of-control audio feedback loop rather than a delay. This will be awesome, I hope.
